Employee Training Courses for Digital Skills.

HR Digital is the division of GSO that deals with: assessment, training and selection of employees with a focus on the digital sphere.
We provide:
  • Consulting and tools for assessing the IT and work skills of resources, and their “digital mindset”
  • Upskilling & Reskilling training courses for staff upgrading or retraining
  • Search and selection of senior profiles with specialized digital skills

Digital Mindset Training

After an initial assessment of the digital skills of human resources, we will build appropriate learning plans to increase employees’ skills, or retrain them for other digital roles.
We have designed training programs for your company to evolve people’s skills from a digital perspective, strengthening necessary soft and hard skills, supporting lateral and innovative thinking.
After completing the mindset and digital skills assessment tests, the user will be placed on a matrix that will identify the intersection of the two areas. This mapping will highlight gaps to act on and, therefore, courses that users should take to improve their digital skills.

Digital Upskilling

GSO HR Digital provides you with upskilling solutions for your resources through e-learning and in-person training. A digital upskilling training course enables the employee to build verticality on hard skills deemed critical to effective performance in his or her role, and to shape the mindset to express his or her maximum potential in the shortest possible time.

Digital Reskilling

GSO HR Digital focuses on employee skill reskilling through training and human resource development programs available in both e-learning and in-person modes. A digital reskilling path allows the employee to acquire horizontal digital skills, and retrain for assignment to other roles within their company.

The importance of employee training and information

A company’s human capital is its most valuable asset. Investing in staff training means investing in the future of your company. Ensuring that your employees have the skills they need to reach their full potential by upgrading and retraining them will have a directly appreciable return through the achievement of company goals.
In addition to increasing employee productivity and profitability, employee training can improve employee motivation, increase retention rates, reduce turnover and attract new talent. Providing state-of-the-art staff training courses also demonstrates to employees the company’s commitment to their professional development, which is preparatory to success in their roles.
By providing training and opportunities for advancement, a company can be consistently competitive by organizing its workforce to adapt to any market conditions and changes.

Upskilling and Reskilling

In today’s rapidly changing landscape, change has become the only constant: some jobs are becoming obsolete while new ones are being created. The skills employees need to be successful are constantly changing, so it is up to companies to provide the skills needed to stay on top of the game.
Although “Upskilling” and “Reskilling” are two terms often used together, there is a clear distinction between the two:

Upskilling: Empowering Skills

Upskilling is the term used to describe the process of acquiring the skills employees need to meet the demands of their current job.
Digital Upskilling consists of providing employees with the skills needed to work in a digital world, according to the DigComp framework outlined by the European Union, through state-of-the-art teaching methods supported by technology-based tools.

Reskilling: The Acquisition of New Skills.

Instead, reskilling occurs when an employee needs to learn different skills to meet the demands of a new job. This may happen because the current job is no longer relevant, has been automated, or because you want to assign the employee a new task.
Technology has had a huge impact on the world of work. Many jobs once done by humans are now done by machines or software, and this trend is likely to continue. As a result, many employees find themselves in need of retraining in order to remain relevant in the workplace.

Which Staff Training Course to Choose?

Upgrading and retraining skills are both important in the human resource development landscape, but it is important to choose the right solution. Only by taking into consideration both a company’s needs and those of its employees can the best solution be found to achieve its goals.

When choosing a skills upgrading solution or retraining pathway, companies should consider several aspects:
  • Employees: What skills do they need to acquire? What is the most effective way to learn?
  • Business needs: What are the goals? What is the allocated budget?
  • The type of training: Online or in-person? Self-managed or guided?
  • Evaluation: How will the company measure the success of the training?
Upgrading and retraining employee skills are essential HR strategies for companies that want to stay ahead of the curve. By providing staff with the skills they need to succeed, companies can improve the productivity and profitability of their resources while attracting new talent.
