What we mean by Assessment & Development

In today’s world of work, assessment and development play a key role in ensuring that employees have the tools and resources they need to succeed within an organization. Assessment and development are techniques for evaluating employees’ skills and developing their potential within an organization.

The main objective behind assessment and development is to support the development of people so that their potential can be maximized to ensure the success of the organization.

Assessment

Assessment (evaluation) is the process involved in gathering information about an individual’s performance, knowledge, experience or abilities in order to identify the strengths and weaknesses of individuals, and to determine their suitability for a particular role or task.

Development

Development focuses on using assessment results to provide training courses and targeted projects to further improve individuals’ professional performance and skills to enable them to reach their full potential.
